a) Pimples Treatment : |
| A pimple is a small swelling in the skin caused by a blockage of a pore. Recurrent or multiple pimples are termed acne. Many people view pimples as unsightly, and try to avoid getting them, if possible. There are a number of ways to treat pimples before they appear, and there are also some options for dealing with pimplesafter they arise. As is the case with any type of medical condition, severe or painful pimples should be treated by a doctor. |
| b) Pigmentation Treatment : |
When the skin is over-exposed to the sun to a great degree, melanocytes (pigment producing cells) may go into a panic, and produce excessive pigmentation. So what, you ask. All that this means is that I turn a darker shade. Yes, that is true, but the problem is, due to the panic, the nature of the cells may get altered, and you may find that they start producing more melanin permanently. Your tan just may become permanent. However, this is not where the problem lies, as many people would be happy to have a permanent tan.
The problem is, not all cells react the same, so while some cells produce extra melanin or colour, others don't, which leads to pigment patches. To make matters worse, certain melanocytes may shut down due to excessive sun exposure, as they are unable to cope. The skin around this cell consequently turns white, and will never tan. (These white patches should not be confused with leucoderma.) This condition is known as hypo-pigmentation, and is even more severe than hyper-pigmentation, as the white skin patches are particularly prone to skin cancer due to their inability to tan. |

| c) Post Acne Mark and Scar : |
Acne is a skin condition that affects up to 80% of people in their teens and twenties, and up to 5% of older adults. While many people recover from acne without any permanent effects, some people are left with disfiguring acne scars. There are some topical skin care products and medications that can improve mild scarring, but most acne scars are treated with a combination of surgical procedures and skin resurfacing.
Early Acne Scars :
After an acne lesion has healed, it can leave a red or hyperpigmented mark on the skin. This is actually not a scar, but rather a post inflammatory change. |
| |
| The redness or hyperpigmentation is seen as the skin goes through its healing and remodeling process, which takes approximately 6-12 months. If no more acne lesions develop in that area, the skin can heal normally. Any color change or skin defect still present after 1 year is considered to be a permanent defect or scar. |
| d) Tanning : |
Tanning is common problem caused by excess exposure of skin during summers when the sun shines at its peak and we could do nothing except wearing sleeveless clothes. Half shirt or sleeveless usually leads to tanning on the hands and even face is the most affected area which get tanned. Yet people can’t resist themselves of retreating on the beach and near the swimming pools during the summers.
Though swimming is not bad but it can lead to maximum tanning on the body by changing the colour of exposed parts from white to dark tan. For many people summer means hanging out near markets, pools and freak places under the shade and these all refers to exposure of skin which leads to tanning.
To enjoy the summer without skin tan, people need to make sure that their skin is not fully exposed in the sunlight and if it is somehow then apply specific sunscreen or other natural remedy to minimize the affect of sunlight. Tanned skin shows the cellular damage on skin which can only be treated with proper skin care lest it would harm the specific area by changing the colour permanently.
Causes of tanning :
The changing of skin colour due to exposure into sunlight is what is called tanning and this happens due to the UVA radiation emitted by sun while UVB rays causes sun burns.
Though both the rays are harmful for skin, but UVA changes only skin colour which can only be treated with proper care and neglecting sun exposure.
UVA radiations penetrates deeper into the skin and triggers down skin cells melanocytes which thereby produces melanin, a brown colour pigment responsible for change of skin colour.
Exposing body parts in sun without sunscreen render skin tan, skin rash and sun burn. |
